5. User Conduct and Responsibilities

• Webcam and Microphone Requirement: During live online sessions, you are required to maintain your webcam turned on (unless technical limitations or explicit permission from the instructor prevent it) and ensure your microphone is functional and ready for active participation when called upon. • Complete all assigned homework, assignments, exercises, and projects promptly and to the best of your ability. Timely completion of assignments is crucial for reinforcing learning and allowing instructors to provide effective feedback.
• Engage in respectful, courteous, and professional communication with instructors, staff, and fellow students at all times within the Platform or any associated communication channels. Harassment, abuse, or any form of discriminatory behavior is strictly prohibited.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials and not share them with anyone else.
• Not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, distribute, or exploit any portion of the Services, course materials, or Sprachlingua Content (as defined below) without our express prior written permission.

• Batch Shifting Policy: Due to the structured nature of our courses and the dynamics of cohort learning, shifting between batches is generally not permitted, as it can be disruptive to both the student and the entire batch. However, in exceptional circumstances involving significant unforeseen difficulties, a student *may* be allowed to shift batches **once**. This permitted shift is **only to the immediately following batch** (the very next batch of the course that commences after the original batch concludes or is left by the student due to the difficulty). This shifting option is **not available after a significant duration** from the original batch's start and **must be requested promptly** after the unforeseen difficulty occurs. The shift is also subject to availability in the target batch. This single, approved shift is offered without additional course fees (though administrative fees *may* apply). Further requests for shifting batches will not be accommodated. This policy is designed to maintain the integrity and consistency of the learning environment. Shifting batches is explicitly *not* intended for repeating a course for extra practice, auditing for free, or extending access.
