Sprachlingua – Online Class Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Sprachlingua. By enrolling in our online courses, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Attendance
- Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes on time.
- Repeated late arrivals or absences may affect learning progress.
- If you are unable to attend a class, please inform the administration in advance whenever possible.
- Students who are absent are responsible for catching up on any lessons, assignments, or announcements they may have missed.
2. Class Participation
- Students are expected to actively participate in classroom activities, discussions, and assignments.
- Cameras should remain switched on throughout the class unless prior permission has been obtained from the trainer.
- Students should keep their microphones muted when not speaking to minimize background noise.
- Students are expected to maintain a professional attitude and actively engage in classroom activities.
3. Technical Requirements
- Students must have a stable internet connection, a computer or laptop (preferred), and a working microphone.
- It is the student's responsibility to ensure that their device and internet connection are functioning properly before class begins.
- Sprachlingua is not responsible for classes missed due to the student's technical or internet issues.
- Students are encouraged to join the class at least 5 minutes before the scheduled start time to resolve any technical issues.
4. Recording Policy
- Recording, photographing, or screen recording any part of the class without written permission from Sprachlingua is strictly prohibited.
- Course materials, presentations, and teaching content remain the intellectual property of Sprachlingua.
- Any unauthorized recording or distribution of class content may result in disciplinary action or termination of enrollment.
5. Course Materials
- Study materials provided by Sprachlingua are for the enrolled student's personal use only.
- Sharing, distributing, reproducing, or uploading course materials to any website or social media platform is strictly prohibited.
- Students shall not copy, sell, or redistribute any learning material without prior written permission.
6. Classroom Etiquette
- Students must behave respectfully towards trainers and fellow students.
- Offensive, abusive, discriminatory, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.
- Students should attend classes from a quiet environment to avoid distractions.
- Mobile phones should be used only for learning purposes during the session.
7. Assignments and Practice
- Students are expected to complete homework, assignments, and practice exercises on time.
- Regular self-study is essential for successful language learning.
- Failure to complete assignments regularly may affect the student's progress evaluation.
8. Communication
- Official communication regarding schedules, announcements, and course updates will be sent through the designated communication channels.
- Students should regularly check their email and WhatsApp for updates.
- Students are responsible for staying informed about any announcements made by Sprachlingua.
9. Certificates
- Course completion certificates will be issued only after fulfilling the minimum attendance requirement, completing the required coursework, and clearing all outstanding fees.
- Certificates will not be issued to students with pending dues or incomplete course requirements.
10. Fees
- Course fees must be paid as per the agreed schedule.
- Delayed payments may result in suspension of access to classes or learning resources until all dues are cleared.
- Failure to clear outstanding fees may result in cancellation of enrollment.
11. Batch Changes
- Requests for batch changes are subject to seat availability and approval by the management.
- Sprachlingua reserves the right to modify class schedules, trainers, or batches whenever necessary.
12. Missed Classes
- Missed classes are generally not repeated individually.
- Students may be accommodated in another batch only if feasible and subject to management approval.
- It is the student's responsibility to revise the missed topics using the LMS and course materials.
13. Privacy
- Students agree that their personal information will be used only for educational and administrative purposes.
- Sprachlingua will not share student information with third parties except where required by law.
- Student information will be stored securely and handled in accordance with applicable privacy regulations.
14. Code of Conduct
- Students shall not share meeting links with anyone.
- Students shall not allow another person to attend classes using their login credentials.
- Students shall not intentionally disturb or interrupt the class.
- Students shall not use inappropriate, offensive, abusive, or discriminatory language.
- Students shall not copy or distribute examination material without permission.
- Violation of the code of conduct may result in disciplinary action.
15. Intellectual Property
- All course content, presentations, worksheets, LMS content, videos, assessments, and teaching materials are the exclusive property of Sprachlingua.
- No material may be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, or commercially used without prior written permission.
16. Limitation of Liability
- Sprachlingua shall not be liable for interruptions caused by internet outages, power failures, software issues, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
- Sprachlingua shall not be responsible for any loss of data, missed classes, or delays caused by technical issues on the student's side.
17. Right to Refuse or Terminate Enrollment
- Sprachlingua reserves the right to suspend or terminate a student's enrollment without refund in cases of serious misconduct.
- Enrollment may also be terminated for harassment of trainers or fellow students.
- Academic dishonesty, misuse of course materials, or violation of these Terms & Conditions may result in immediate termination.
18. Changes to Terms
- Sprachlingua reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
- Any revised Terms & Conditions will become effective once communicated to students.
19. Refund Policy
- All course fees paid to Sprachlingua are non-refundable.
- No refunds, either partial or full, will be provided under any circumstances, including withdrawal from the course, non-attendance, discontinuation after commencement, or termination due to violation of these Terms & Conditions.
20. Batch Shift Policy
- A student may request one batch shift only, from the current batch to the immediately succeeding batch.
- The request is subject to seat availability and must be mutually agreed upon by both the student and Sprachlingua.
- Once the batch shift has been approved and utilized, no further batch changes will be permitted.
21. Qualification for Higher Levels
- Progression to the next language level is based on the student's overall performance throughout the course.
- Sprachlingua evaluates students based on classroom participation, LMS performance, homework, assignments, and regular assessments and examinations.
- If a student does not demonstrate the expected level of proficiency, Sprachlingua may recommend that the student repeat the current level by joining the next available batch.
- Such a recommendation will be made only once. Students are therefore expected to take their learning seriously and actively participate throughout the course.
- If the student chooses to continue to the next level despite Sprachlingua's recommendation, the institute will respect the student's decision.
- However, the student acknowledges that Sprachlingua can only provide academic guidance and recommendations. The final responsibility for learning outcomes rests with the student.
